CONNECTING AND OPERATING THE 4X CAT6 EXTENDER FOR HDMI

Routing Sources using the Optional RMT-4-IR Remote Unit

(Matrix Mode)

There are a total of 4 buttons on the RMT-4-IR remote, which represent each of the 4 buttons on the Receiver unit.

Example 1: Route the source connected to HDMI In 3 (from the 4x4 Matrix) on the Sender unit to the display connected to HDMI Out 2.

Point the Remote at the Receiver unit connected to Display 2, then press button 3 on the RMT-4-IR.

The RMT-4-IR remote control unit will allow the selection of any input (source) on the 4x4 Matrix unit can be will be routed to any of four Receiver units. Use the information in the table above when routing the desired input to a display.
