How to Equalize the 4x CAT6 Extender for HDMI

(Matrix Mode / Stand-alone Mode)

The 4x CAT6 Extender for HDMI Receiver unit has an equalization trimpot to

compensate for variances that can be found in different CAT-6a cable brands. If there is no output video or if output video contains artifacts and/or video noise, use the steps below to adjust the EQ trimpot.

EQ trimpot

1.Insert a small flat-head screwdriver into the trimpot on the front panel of the Receiver unit.

2.The EQ trimpot can be set to one of eight different positions. Turn the trimpot clockwise until it clicks into the next position. Continue adjusting the trimpot until the signal shows best results.
