With the Repeat function you can play a disc, title, chap- ter, group, track, or folder (MP3/JPEG) over-and-over again.

The Chapter Repeat, Title Repeat,

 

Track Repeat, and Group Repeat

 

options can be selected only during

 

playback.

Notes:

Repeat playback may not work with some DVD-Video discs.

The Repeat function can be used in combination with the Random function (see page 54).

If the Memory function is on (see page 55), the select- able options are Memory Repeat, which plays the playlist repeatedly, and Repeat Off.

To use the Repeat function with a VCD that supports PBC, you must first turn off PBC (see page 80).

A–B Repeat Playback

DVD-V DVD-A SACD DVD-VR VCD CD

With the A–B Repeat function you can play a specified section over-and-over again.

During playback, press the [A–B]

button to set the A point (i.e., the

start of the section you want to

“A–” appears onscreen and REPEAT A

 

indicator appears on the display.

To cancel A–B repeat playback,

the [A–B] button to select Off.

Notes:

The A–B Repeat function may not work with some DVD-Video discs and VCDs that support PBC.

In some cases, the A and B points may be at slightly different points to the ones that you specify.

If you select a different camera angle during A–B repeat playback, the original camera angle will be selected when playback restarts from the A point.
