The following safety dialog appears: ARE YOU SURE? PRESS STORE TO CONFIRM ! Press the STORE twice to acknowledge this dialog.

When trying to change one of the appliance’s settings, SYSTEM IS LOCKED! appears on the display, indicating that the DSP 244’s operating system is blocked for entries via the numeric keys or the rotary encoder.

To disable edit-protection, select the “LOCK CODE” page in the OPTION mode again. The display shows:

Enter the correct password code number and press STORE to acknowledge the entry. Afterwards, edit-protection is disabled and all parameter values are again freely accessible for alteration.

9.6 TEMPERATURE UNIT settings

This function allows the user to select the unit for the temperature settings. Temperature values are used in the master and channel delays, which enables the DSP 244 to automatically include temperature-re- lated affects in the computing of delay times.

Celsius:

Temperatures are displayed in degrees Celsius (°C).

Fahrenheit:

Temperatures are displayed in degrees Fahrenheit (°F).

9.7 MIDI RX / TX CHANNEL settings

Here you can set the channels for sending and receiving MIDI DATA. The setting also applies to sending and receiving SYSTEM EXCLUSIVE DATA (SysEx).

You can select one of the following settings for the MIDI RX CHANNEL:

Off:

No MIDI DATA is received. The DSP 244 cannot be controlled by MIDI commands.

Omni:

The DSP 244 receives MIDI DATA from all 16 MIDI channels.

1 - 16:

The DSP 244 only receives incoming MIDI DATA on the selected MIDI channel 1 to 16.
