Illustration A
The easiest way of getting the strap tight is by pulling the end of the strap downwards below the seat.
View from inside with seat lifted for clarity.
Then thread the baby seat strap that faces the middle at the front of the baby seat down
in front of the telescopic tube, around the bungee cord and again back up in front of the telescopic tube.
Thread the end of the strap as shown in the above illustration through the fastener in the baby seat and gently pull the strap tight.
Next, the straps at the rear end of the baby seat are attached.
Then lay the strap that is on the side of the baby seat facing out of the trailer around the vertical frame tube at the side and pull it forward again over the horizontal diagonal tube.
Thread the end of the strap as shown in illustration A through the fastener in the baby seat and gently pull the strap tight.
In the centre of the trailer seat backrest, there are straps for each side for further securing of the baby seat.
Pull the strap pointing to the side chosen through the baby seat fastener and pull it tight as in illustration A.
Finally connect the fastex buckles on the underside of the baby seat with the buckles on the lap belt of the side chosen. Pull the lap belt ends equally tight, so that the baby seat does not tip to one side.
Finally pull all fastening straps tight.
On the Corsaire XL and Captain XL models it is important to ensure that the baby seat is set high enough and under enough tension, so that neither the baby’s bottom nor its back will come into contact with the trailer seat as a result of jolts during travel. Once all straps have been pulled tight, the front padding should sit more or less vertical over the telescopic tube.
Please note: Make sure you check all belt buckles are tight!
