Using the MENU Command Sequence

2.Press the TAKE button.

The Displays show the messages:

Press TAKE to execute

3.Press the TAKE button again.

The MATRIX Display momentarily shows this message, followed by the status of the switcher and in the STATUS Display the letter “S” is displayed behind the blinking cursor:

the UNIT is set in mode

FOLLOW system

If the status of the VS-1616SDIunit differs from that of the other unit(s), set the VS-1616SDIunit to the Follow-SYSTEMmode. The MATRIX Display blinks the new status of the switcher and the TAKE LED blinks. Pressing the TAKE button1 implements all the changes to the same state as the rest of the system placing the switcher in the Follow-SYSTEMmode.

To set the VS-1616SDIunit to function in the Breakaway-from-SYSTEMmode:

1.Press the MENU button twice.

The MATRIX Display shows the message:

FOLLOW the system

yes -> TAKE, next -> MENU

2. Press the TAKE button.

The Displays show the messages:

 

BREAKAWAY from system?

current:

Press TAKE to execute

follow SYS

3.Press the TAKE button again.

The MATRIX Display shows the message:

the UNIT is set in mode

BREAKAWAY from system
