If you hear the warning beep, you can either switch off traffic information pri- ority or tune into a station that broad- casts traffic information.

Skipping a traffic announcement

"TRAFFIC" is displayed during a traffic an- nouncement. To cancel a traffic announce- ment without switching off the priority of traffic information:

￿During the traffic announcement, press the TRAF•RDS button = once.

The previously active audio source is played again. If a traffic announcement is broad- cast again, the device automatically switch- es it through again.

Setting the volume for traffic announcements

￿Press the MENU button >. The display shows "MENU".

￿Press the or button 2 repeatedly until "TA VOLUME" appears on the dis- play.

￿Press the button 2 to open the sub- menu.

"TA VOL" and the currently set value are dis- played.

￿Set the desired volume using the or

button 2.

When you have finished making your chang- es,

￿press the MENU button >. To exit the menu,

￿press the ESC button <.
