Random track play (MIX)
You can play either all tracks in the current directory or all tracks on the MP3 data car- rier in random order.
￿ Press the 5 MIX button 8 repeatedly until the desired function appears on the display:
• "MIX DIR"
(all tracks in the current directory)
• "MIX ALL"
(all tracks on the MP3 data carrier)
• "MIX OFF"
(end playback in random order)
As long as the random playback function is active, the display shows the MIX symbol.

Cancelling scan and continuing listening to a track

￿Briefly press the MENU button >.

The currently scanned track will then con- tinue to be played normally.

Interrupting playback (PAUSE)

￿Press the 3 button 8. "PAUSE" appears on the display.

Cancelling pause

￿Press the 3 button 8. Playback is continued.

ENGLISH

You can scan (briefly play) all the tracks on the MP3 data carrier.

￿Press the MENU button > for longer than 2 seconds.

The display intermittently shows "SCAN" and the file name. The titles of the MP3 data carrier are scanned in ascending order.

Note:

You can set the scanning time. For fur- ther information on setting the scan- ning time, please read the section en- titled "Setting the scanning time" in the "Radio mode" chapter.
