Installing the front panel

A front panel must be installed on the washer before it can be safely oper- ated. It can be custom made to match the surrounding cabinetry or furmiture.

Front Panel Dimensions:

Height:

22 7/16" (+ 3/8" / -1")

570 mm (+ 10 / - 25 mm)

Width:

23 3/16" – 23 1/2"

588 – 596 mm

Thickness:

3/4" (19 mm) maximum

Using the provided template, layout and drill the pilot holes for the mounting brackets as follows:

Lay the panel with the finished side face down and the bottom edge to- ward you.

Align the bottom of the template with the lower edge of the door.

Center the template on the panel by using the four parallel lines located at each corner. The panel is cen- tered when the identical line on each side aligns with the panel edge.

For example, if your panel is 23 3/8" wide, the second line from the center of the template will align with both the right and left edges.

Tape the centered template to the panel.

Using a 3/8" (10 mm) drill bit, drill 1/2" (12 mm) deep pilot holes at tem-

plate locations 1 and 2 only.

Remove the template from the panel.
