CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Your lift system requires a minimal amount of care and maintenance. If you do not feel confident in your ability to perform the maintenance listed below, you may schedule inspection and maintenance at your authorized Pride Pro- vider. The following areas require periodic inspection and/ or care and maintenance.

Daily Maintenance Schedule

This lift system may come equipped with any of the securement devices listed below. Inspect these devices for loose or damaged parts on a daily basis. Have your authorized Pride Provider repair or replace any problem parts before using the lift system.

90-Day Maintenance Schedule

Clean and lubricate the T-bar inner telescoping tube. Use all-weather lithium grease only. See figure 22. Lubricate all pivot points on the lift. Use all weather lithium grease only.

Inspect and clean the power-supply connections as necessary.

Inspect all hardware and tighten or replace as necessary.

Visually inspect lift system for loose or damaged parts. Have your authorized Pride Provider repair or replace any problem parts before using the lift sys- tem.

Two-Year Maintenance Schedule

If your lift is equipped with a power dock, replace the securment bolt in the securement bracket located on your mobility device.

Five-Year Maintenance Schedule

Inspect the “Spring-Activated Mechanical Switch” and lubricate or adjust spring tension as necessary.
