.Select Type-E thermocouple.

.Turn off U.U.T.

.Replace T calibration-cable with E calibration-cable.

.Turn on U.U.T. Allow 2-3 minutes for thermal stabilization.

.Apply 32°F (Type E). Adjust P1 for a reading of 32.0°F (exclusive of noise).

.Hit OPR key to store E-meter zero-adjustment.

.Select Type-K thermocouple.

.Select CALIB mode.

.Turn off U.U.T.

.Connect U.U.T. to test-equipment per Figure 3 using the K calibration- cable.

.Turn-on U.U.T. and allow 2-3 minutes, for thermal stabilization

.Set both the U.U.T. and TC-simulator to output 32.0°F (Type K). Adjust P2 for a null-meter reading of 0±3µV.

.Set both the U.U.T. and T-simulator to output 2400°F (Type K). Adjust P41 for a null-meter reading of 0±3µV.

NOTE: Steps 34 and 35 are interactive. Repeat each as neces- sary to get the desired null readings.

.Hit OPR key to store K-calib zero adjustment.

.Select J thermocouple.

.Turn off U.U.T.

.Replace K calibration-cable with J calibration-cable.

.Turn on U.U.T. Allow 2-3 minutes for thermal stabilization.

.Set both the U.U.T. and TC-simulator to output 32.0°F (Type J). Adjust P1 for a null-meter reading of 0±3µV.

.Hit OPR Key to store J-calib zero adjustment.

.Select Type-T thermocouple.

.Turn off U.U.T.

.Replace J calibration-cable with T calibration-cable.

.Turn on U.U.T. Allow 2-3 minutes for thermal stabilization.
