To switch the answering machine on/off

Press LEFT/RIGHT to switch the answering machine ON or OFF.

Available recording time:

After you switch your

BT Diverse 5450 answering machine on, you will hear the remaining memory time announced.

Memory full:

If the memory becomes full, and an Answer Only message has been recorded, your

BT Diverse 5450 answering machine will automatically switch to Answer Only mode. Free up the memory by deleting old messages (see page 67). The answering machine will then automatically return to Answer and Record mode.

If no Answer Only message has been recorded, the answering machine switches
