Using Mailboxes

You can set up to 3 individual mailboxes and record an announcement that tells callers which mailbox to select for their message.

For example, an announcement could be ‘Hello, your call cannot be taken at the moment. To leave a message for John, press 1, for Suzy press 2, for Alan press 3 and then speak after the tone’.

The caller enters the mailbox number they want and then leaves their message.

To set up to 3 mailboxes

If you want to use up to 3 mailboxes, you must switch the answering machine on and enter the number of mailboxes you want to use.

Press the RIGHT button. Press DOWN to scroll to

Voice Mail.

OK Press OK.

Press DOWN to scroll to

Answering Machine. OK Press OK.

Press LEFT/RIGHT to switch

the answering machine ON. Press DOWN to scroll to

Mailboxes.

Press LEFT/RIGHT to select the number of mailboxes you want 1-3.

SAVE Press SAVE to confirm.

Press and hold the RED PHONE to return to the idle

screen.

Note

If the caller enters an invalid number for the mailbox, their message will be stored in mailbox 1.

To change the number of mailboxes

Press the RIGHT button.

Press DOWN to scroll to

Voice Mail.

OK Press OK.

Press DOWN to scroll to

Answering Machine.

OK Press OK.

Press LEFT/RIGHT to switch the answering machine ON.

Press DOWN to scroll to

Mailboxes.

Press LEFT/RIGHT to change the number of mailboxes you want 1-3.

SAVE Press SAVE to confirm.

Press and hold the RED PHONE to return to the idle

screen.
