Using Bluetooth Devices
–“On(with name)”: The handset notifies you and announces the name of the message sender.
–“Off”: The handset does not notify you.

In order to use the text message alert feature, you may need to enable your cellular phone’s Bluetooth notification feature.

Note:
RIf the text message alert feature does not work, you must turn on notifications in the Bluetooth settings of your cellular phone. Then, unplug the base unit’s AC adaptor and reconnect it to activate the text message alert feature. RThe unit announces the name or phone number depending on your cellular phone.
RThis feature may not pronounce all names correctly.
RText message alerts are not logged in the caller list of your unit.
