Machine Description

The Model G0453/G0454 Planer is designed to remove material in precise increments from the surface of natural wood fiber stock to make the workpiece flat.

Once the depth of cut is set, the workpiece is placed on the table and moved into the infeed roller, which pulls the workpiece under the rotat- ing cutterhead where the material is removed. After the workpiece is completely free from the outfeed roller, the depth of cut is increased and the workpiece is passed through the planer again. This process continues until the workpiece is flat and of the correct thickness.
