You can refresh existing administration and password values or create new values, provided that any change is also added to the RISS configuration.

If the status line shows Failed to decrypt password when you open the SetAdmin dialog box, the password is corrupted and will not work with the PTDelItems program. You will need to refresh or create new administration and password values. Make sure they match the values on the RISS.

SetAdmin from the command line

SetAdmin can also be executed from the command line. This allows you to create or replace the administration and password values, but not to read them. The following is the command line syntax:

SetAdmin /a <admin> /p <password> /k <key> /o <logfile> /i <inifile> /v <verbosity>

When run from the command line, the only indication of successful operation is the log file. The log

file is saved in the directory G:\Mining\Selective Archiving\Logfiles\ and has a filename of the form:

SetAdmin_<date>_nnnnnnnn.log

Two possible outcomes can be logged: Successfully saved admin or Failed to save admin.

OWA RISS

RISS with OWA (Outlook Web Access) is a web application that provides access to a user’s mailbox from any desktop connected to the Internet. RISS with OWA provides the same transparent access to a mailbox as RISS with Outlook. The full set of MS Outlook features is available through MS Internet Explorer. Non-Microsoft browsers may have reduced functionality.

After you have installed OWA, your HP service representative will install and initially configure OWARISS.

System requirements

Exchange Server 2000 SP4 with Microsoft Outlook Web Access Server 2000.

Exchange Server 2003 with Microsoft Outlook Web Access Server 2003. Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) 5.0.

RISS version 1.2 or later.

Active Server Pages ASP 3.0.

Microsoft ActiveX® Data Objects (ADO) 2.5 library (msado15.dll) installed with Windows 2000 Server with Service Pack 1 (SP1) or later.

WinHTTP 5.1 installed or updated. This is provided only with Windows Server 2003, Windows XP SP1, and Windows 2000 Professional SP3. All others must update the server.

WinHTTP 5.1 is available for update from MSDN. See MSDN Article KB842773, “Update for Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) 2.0 and WinHTTP 5.1 Windows 2000.” See MSDN Article KB842773, “Update for Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) 2.0 and WinHTTP 5.1 Windows 2003.”

Proxycfg.exe supported by WinHTTP 5.1. The compatible version is required. A copy of the required file version is provided in the OWA RISS install bundle.

Client computer: Internet Explorer 5.0 or later.

Multiple mail stores

The OWA RISS install procedure performed by your HP service representative can configure multiple mail stores. OWA with RISS allows access to any number of mail stores configured through a given Exchange server. Typically, a user mailbox is completely within one RISS. OWA RISS determines automatically which RISS store applies to any given user.
