3Using Speed Dialing and Broadcasting

Follow these instructions to set up Speed Dials and One-Touch buttons and to use the Broadcast List.

Speed Dials and One-Touch buttons allow you to program frequently called numbers (both telephone and fax) into your unit so you do not have to dial them each time.

The Broadcasting function allows you to send a fax to a distribution list of up to 30 people.

Setting up Speed Dials and One Touch Buttons.

You can program frequently called numbers into your fax machine. Each speed dial code can be programmed with both a telephone number and a fax number. The first 10 Speed Dial numbers are assigned to the One Touch buttons. Speed Dials can be dialed by pressing the One Touch button or entering the Speed Dial code.

If no document is loaded, pressing a One Touch button or entering a Speed Dial code will dial the telephone number. If a document is loaded, the fax number will be dialed.
