SEGURIDAD PARA USAR HERRAMIENTAS

PELIGRO

1.LOS OPERARIOS Y OTRAS PERSONAS EN EL AREA DE

TRABAJO DEBERAN USAR GAFAS DE SEGURIDAD CON

PROTECTORESLATERALES.

Cuando use una herramienta, use siem‑ pre gafas de seguridad con protectores laterales, y asegúrese de que las otras personas en su área de trabajo también usen gafas de seguridad.

Las gafas d seguridad deben cumplir con los requisitos del Instituto Nacional Ameri‑ cano de Normalizaciones, ANSI Z87.1 y brindar protección frontal y lateral contra

partículas en vuelo.

El empleador debe exigir que el operario de la herramienta y otras personas en el área de trabajo usen gafas de seguridad.

2.NUNCA USE OXIGENO NI OTROS GASES EMBOTELLADOS. SE PUEDE PRODUCIR UNA EXPLOSION.

Nunca use oxígeno, gases combustibles ni otros gases embotellados como fuente de energía para la herramienta.

El uso de los gases mencionados anterior‑ mente es peligroso ya que la herramienta explotará.

Use sólo aire comprimido, limpio, seco y regulado.

ADVERTENCIA

3.NUNCA APUNTE LA HERRAMIENTA HACIA USTED NI HACIA NINGUNA OTRA PERSONA EN EL AREA DE TRABAJO.

Asuma siempre que la herramienta está cargada con sujetadores.

Nunca apunte la herramienta hacia usted ni hacia ninguna otra persona esté o no esté cargada con sujetadores.

Si los sujetadores se disparan por error, pueden ocasionar lesiones graves. Nunca juegue con la herramienta. Respete la herramienta como un

implemento de trabajo.
