LUBRICATION

The model NT50AGF Pneumatic Flooring Nailer is lubricated at the factory using Mobilith SHC 460 synthetic grease or equivalent. It is not necessary to lubricate the tool during normal day-to-day use.

The tool should be lubricated using the factory recommended lubri- cant at normal servicing intervals. (See SERVICE AND REPAIRS in this manual.)

DO NOT USE AN IN-LINE OILER WITH THE NT50AGF Pneumatic Flooring Nailer.

DO NOT INTRODUCE OIL, SOLVENTS, LUBRICANTS, OR WATER INTO THE TOOL AS THIS WILL REDUCE THE EFFECTIVENESS AND THE USEFUL LIFE OF THE TOOL.

COLD WEATHER CARE

Do not store the Nailer in a cold weather environment.

Keep the Nailer in a warm area until beginning the work.

If the Nailer is already cold, bring it in a warm area and allow the Nailer to warm up before use.

(1) Reduce the air pressure to 64 psi (4.4 bar 4.5 kgf/cm2)

(2)Remove all nails from the Nailer.

(3)Connect the air hose and operate the Nailer without nails.

The lowered air pressure will be enough to operate the Nailer with- out nails.

Slow speed operation tends to warm up the moving part.

CAUTION

Do not operate the Nailer at high pressure without fasteners.
