MEDIDAS DE SEGURIDAD IMPORTANTES

Al utilizar este electrodoméstico, siempre debe cumplir precauciones de seguridad, incluso las siguientes:

■Lea todas las instrucciones antes de utilizarlo.

■No permita que el cable cuelgue del borde de la mesa de traba- jo o toque alguna superficie caliente.

■Coloque la máquina para hacer helado en un lugar firme del centro

de la encimera o el lugar de trabajo.

■Es necesaria una atenta supervisión cuando la utilicen niños o se la utilice cerca de ellos.

■Evite cualquier contacto con componentes en movimiento. Los dedos, el cabello, la ropa, etc. deben mantenerse a distancia durante la operación.

■El uso de accesorios no recomendados o vendidos por Deni/Keystone Manufacturing Co., Inc. puede causar peligros.

■No la opere con el cable dañado. Devuelva la máquina para hacer helado a nuestro centro de reparaciones o haga que la repare un electricista matriculado.

■Siempre desconéctela antes de limpiarla y sacarle componentes.

■Sólo para uso en interiores.

■No la coloque cerca de quemadores calientes a gas o eléctricos.

■Mantenga los utensilios fuera del bote mientras utiliza la máquina para reducir el riesgo de lesiones a personas o daño a la máquina para hacer helado.

Los utensilios u objetos afilados o de mental no deben utilizarse en el interior del bote. Pueden rayarlo o dañarlo. Los utensilios de goma o madera pueden utilizarse cuando la máquina esté apagada.

■ No la limpie con paños de metal. Ciertas partes del paño pueden desprenderse y causar cortocircuito en componentes eléctricos, lo cual genera la posibilidad de una descarga eléctri- ca.

■ Para protegerla de descargas eléctricas, no sumerja el enchufe, el cable o la parte superior del motor en agua ni en otro líquido.

■ No utilice un alargue con esta máquina para hacer helados. Sin embargo, si usa uno, debe tener una potencia nominal igual o superior a la de este electrodoméstico.

■ La máquina es sólo para uso doméstico.

■ No debe utilizársela para otros fines que no sean aquellos para los cuales se la diseñó.

■ La máquina para hacer helado Deni® tiene un enchufe polariza- do (una pata es más ancha que la otra). Como medida de seguridad, ese enchufe entrará en un tomacorriente polarizado sólo en una dirección. Si no encaja por completo, dé vuelta el enchufe. Póngase en contacto con un electricista calificado si sigue sin encajar. No intente pasar por alto esta medida de seguridad.
