Operation: Water

Water

Water enters the machine through the 3/8 inch male flare at the rear of the cabinet, goes to the water reservoir which it enters through the float valve. The water then goes out the bottom of the reservoir tank to the bottom of the evaporator. Reservoir overflow or evaporator condensation is routed to the drain.

Water Level

The correct water level should be checked when the machine is making ice. Locate the water level in the reservoir, and compare it to the horizontal line molded into the side of the reservoir. The correct level should be between 1/8 inch above and 1/4 inch below the line. If needed, bend the float arm up or down to adjust the water level.
