Shortvacations

If you will be away for less than four weeks, use these tips to prepare your refrigerator before you leave.

1.Use up any penshables and freeze other items.

2.If your refrigerator has an automatic ice maker: 0 Raise signal arm to OFF (up) position.

0 Shut off water supply to the ice maker.

3.Empty the ice bin.

Longvacations

If you will be gone for a month or more, follow these steps to prepare your refrigerator.

1.Remove all food from the refngerator.

2.If your refrigerator has an automatic ice maker:

0 Turn off the water supply to the Ice maker at least one day ahead of time.

0 When the last load of ice drops, turn off the ice maker. Make sure all Ice IS dispensed out of the ice maker mechanism.

3.Unplug the refrigerator.

4.Clean It. wipe It. and dry well.

5.Tape rubber or wood blocks to the tops of both doors to prop them open far enough for air to get in. This stops odor and mold from building up.

Moving

When you are moving your refrigerator to a new home, follow these steps to prepare it for the move.

1.If your refrigerator has an automatic ice maker, turn off the water supply to the ice maker at least one day ahead of time.

2.Disconnect the water line from the back of the refrigerator.

3.When the last load of ice drops, lift the signal arm to the OFF (up) position.

4.Remove all food from the refrigerator and pack all frozen food in dry ice.

5.Turn the Refrigerator Control to OFF.

6.Unplug the refrigerator.

2.Debrancher la canalisation d’eau de I’arriere du re- frigerateur.

3.Une fois la quantlte de glace epuisee, soulever le bras de commande a la postion OFF (elevee).

4.Retlrer tous les alrments du refrigerateur et placer tous les aliments congeles dans de la neige carbonique.

5.Tourner le reglage du refngerateur a OFF (arret).

6.Dsbrancher le refrigerateur de la prise.
