Encendido y apagado (fig. J) Para su seguridad, esta herramienta viene con un sistema de interrupción J doble. Evita que la herramienta se encienda por accidente.

La sierra de cadena está diseñada para su uso con las dos manos. La operación con una sola mano puede provocarle lesiones graves al operador, los asistentes o los espectadores.

Para abrir los mangos, deslice el

 

pasador (5) hacia atrás y separe

 

los mangos.. Asegúrese de

sujetar los mangos con firmeza y

luego oprima ambos actuadores

 

del interruptor para encender la

 

unidad.

 

Nota: Ambos interruptores deben

 

activarse para poder utilizar el

 

producto.

 

No fuerce la herramienta: permita que ésta realice el trabajo. Hará un mejor trabajo y más seguro si trabaja a la velocidad para la que fue diseñada. La fuerza excesiva estirará la cadena.

Si la cadena o la barra de la sierra se atasca: - Apague la herramienta.

- Retire la batería de la herramienta.

- Abra el corte con cuñas para disminuir la tensión en la barra de guía. No intente quitar las llaves de la sierra. Comience un nuevo corte. Después del uso, cierre los mangos y deslice el pasador (5) hacia adelante, a la posición de bloqueo. Los mangos deben bloquearse durante el transporte y el almacenamiento de la unidad.

Recorte de ramas

- Asegúrese de que la herramienta esté funcionando a máxima velocidad antes de realizar un corte.

- Sujete la herramienta con firmeza en su lugar para evitar que ésta

rebote o genere movimientos laterales.

- Guíe la herramienta con presión liviana.

- Siempre corte desde la parte superior. De esta forma, evitará

pellizcar la cadena de la sierra.

 

- Corte las ramas como se muestra en la Figura L.

- Retire la herramienta del corte cuando funcione a máxima velocidad.

Mantenimiento

Su herramienta de Black+Decker ha sido diseñada para funcionar durante un largo período con un mínimo mantenimiento. El funcionamiento continuo satisfactorio depende del cuidado adecuado de la herramienta y de una limpieza periódica.

ADVERTENCIA: Antes de realizar cualquier tarea de mantenimiento o de limpiar la herramienta. Retire la batería de la herramienta.

Limpieza

- Retire periódicamente la cubierta de acceso a la cadena y elimine todo desecho que pueda haber quedado atrapado.
