NIC Features	The 3CR990 NICs provide these features for supported IP and IPX environments:
	■	Integrated Boot ROM
	■ Remote Wake-Up
	■ Desktop Management Interface (DMI)
		■	DHCP server prevention
		■	Broadcast storm limitation
	■	Offline diagnostics

Integrated Boot ROM Managed PC Boot Agent (MBA) software provides the multiprotocol preboot firmware and tools. MBA adds management capabilities to the NIC by enabling the PC to boot from a network server, rather than from its local drive. 3CR990 NICs have an integrated boot ROM already installed on the NIC.
