Resettingthe lamp hours
Afteryou replace the lamp module,you need to access the projector service menuand reset the lamp
hours.To prevent accidentalerrors, only a system administrator shouldperform this procedure.
NN O T E
Always reset the lamphours after you replacet helamp, because lamp service remindersare based
onthe current hoursof use.
gTo resetthe lamp hours
1. Usingthe remote control, press the following buttonsquickly toaccess theservice menu:
Down,Up,Up,Left,Up.

Donot adjust any settings in t hes ervicemenu other than thoseli sted in this guide. Changing
othersettings can damageor affect t heoperation of your projectorand may invalidatey our
warranty.
2. Scrolldown to Lamp Hour Reset, and then press Enter.
CC A U T I O N
Donot reset the lamp hours unless you havejust replacedthel ampmodule. Resetting the
lamphours on anold lamp can damageyour projector as a result of lamp failure.
3. Scrolldown to the Exit field, and press Enter to exit the projector service menu.
