Become a failover team member

Here,you make the Telecommuting Module the second member of a failover team. All current conﬁguration will be

removed.The Telecommuting Module will receive its new conﬁguration from the ﬁrst member of the team.

Dedicatednetwork interface [eth0]:

Selectthe network interface which will be directly connected to the other Telecommuting Module in the team. This

interfacewill be used to synchronize the conﬁgurations and can’t be used for anything else. The interfaces use their

physicalnames: if you want to use Network Interface 1, enter "eth0", and if you want to use Network Interface 2,

enter"eth1".

IPnetwork address for eth0 [10.120.121.64]:

Enterthe network address for this interface. The network address must be the same as the one entered for the ﬁrst

memberof the failover team. If you used the default values for that Telecommuting Module you can do the same

here.

IPnetmask for eth0 [255.255.255.252]:

Enterthe netmask for the network. The netmask must be big enough to comprise IP addresses for two computers, a

networkaddress and a broadcast address, i.e. at least four addresses. The default netmask (255.255.255.252) should

sufﬁce.There is no use in assigning a larger network, since the Telecommuting Modules should be connected via a

crossoverTP cable.
