BIOS error messages
When a recoverable error occurs during POST, BIOS will display an error message describing the problem.
The following table defines the error messages that may be displayed if the system BIOS detects an error during POST.

Boot Failure | Could not boot from a particular device . |

Invalid Boot Diskette | A diskette was found in the diskette drive, |
| but is not configured as a bootable |
| diskette. |

Drive Not Ready | Corresponding drive is not ready for data |
| transfer. |
|
|
A: Drive Error | No response from diskette drive. |
Insert BOOT diskette in A:
Could not find a proper boot diskette in drive A.
Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device.
Could not find a bootable device in the system and/or removable media drive does not contain media.
NO ROM BASIC | No bootable device was detected. |
