Configure the switch by adding the SNMP host agent to the host table in order to participate in the SNMP community. SNMP management features on the switch include:
•Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)
•Support Standard MIBs:
•MIB II (RFC1213)
•Ethernet Interface MIB (RFC1643)
•Bridge MIB (RFC1493)
•Private Enterprise MIB
•
The SNMP Configuration submenu has four options:
•SNMP Configuration
•Trap Configuration
•Individual Trap Configuration
•Quit to previous menu
