Printing Test Patterns

The QLS-4100 X is equipped with a number of built-in test patterns used for checking color alignment, print quality, and printhead integrity.

To perform a Test Print:

1Press the NEXT or PREVIOUS key until the Test Print menu is displayed.

Pause: Test Print

 

Test Pattern:

1 in *

2Press the + or - key until the desired test pattern is displayed. The following test patterns are available:

•Test Pattern 1” to 5” - prints a crosshatch pattern to check print quality

•Block Pattern (All) - prints a process block pattern used for color alignment

•Proc. Block (CMYK) - prints a process block pattern used for color alignment

•Proc. Block (KCMY) - prints a process block pattern used for color alignment

•Horiz. Line Pattern - used to check printhead angularity

3Press the SELECT key to confirm your choice.

The printer will immediately begin to print labels showing the selected test pat- tern. Printing will continue until the printer is paused or the CANCEL key is pressed.
