Your QLS-4100 X is designed for long-life and trouble-free operation. In order to keep your printer operating at optimal performance, some periodic maintenance maintenance is required.

This chapter covers the following:

•List of recommended tools for performing maintenance and repairs.

•Procedure for cleaning the print stations.

•Procedure for replacement of a printhead.

•The drive roller, pressure roller, and platen rollers wear with normal use. When print quality is degraded, it is recommended to replace one or more of these.

•Changing the fuse or line voltage.

•Perfoming a firmware upgrade.
