Printing with the QLS-4100 X

Powering the Printer On

When you turn on your printer, it will execute an initialization procedure and self- test. During this process, the display will indicate the model number, firmware version, and memory check status of the printer.

The first display will show the model of the controller, QLS-4100(S) in this ex- ample, followed by the version number of boot software. The boot software permits the printer to initialize, perform a selftest and load system firmware. The second line of the display will cycle through memory check.
