1.1 Introduction
Overview
Projector Toolsetis a so ftware tool to set up, configure, manage and control Barco projectors.
The concept of this Projector Toolset software is modular. The basic package can be extended with sev-
eral optional device plug-in modules, now and in the future available.
TheProjec tor Toolsetsoftware works with configura tions that can be loaded. Within a con figuration, differ-
entsn apshots can be taken. A snapsho t represents a current state of a configuration and can be reloaded
to return to this typical state. These ter ms will be used through the complete software.
ProjectorToolset is a stand-alone application thatruns on a J ava Virtual Machine and that does not require
extraservicestorun.
Several configurations can be controlled simultaneously. Even when the configurations are connected via
differentways.
1.2 About a Configuration
What is a Configuration?
AConfiguration is a collection of projectors with all their current settings, connec ted to a computer. A
configuration can contain different settings, called snapshots, for all the projectors in the configuration.
1.3 About a Snapshot
What is a Snapshot?
ASnapshotis collection of settings of a configuration. Suc h a snapshot represents the current state of a
configuration.
A snapshot can contain all settings or specific settings as input settings, la mp settings, layout settings or
projector settings. When restoring a sn apshot, only the stored settings will be restored. The others remain
on their current value.
1.4 About storing Configurations and Snapshots
Overview
Allinformation is storedby default in the inst all directory of Projector Toolset in the subdirectory Workspace.
