Coffee does not	• Machine is not turned on	Ensure the machine is plugged in

	• Water tank is empty.	Refer to step 1 – Filling the water
		tank on page 15.
	• Selector Control not in	Turn the selector control to the

	• Coffee grind is too fine	Ensure you use a suitable espresso
		grind. Refer to ‘The Grind’ on
		page 22.
	• Too much coffee in	Refer to ‘Preparing the coffee’ on
	the filter	page 15.
	• Coffee tamped too firmly	Refer to ‘Tamping the coffee’ on
		page 16.
	• The filter is blocked	Use the fine pin on the cleaning
		tool to clear the holes. Please refer
		to ‘Cleaning the filters’ on page 26.
Coffee runs out	• The coffee grind is	Ensure you use a suitable espresso
too quickly	too coarse	grind. Refer to ‘The Grind’ on
		page 22.
	• Not enough coffee in	Refer to ‘Preparing the coffee’ on

	• Coffee not tamped firmly	Refer to ‘Preparing the coffee’ on
