NOTE
The no service password-encryption command used to disable the encryption, now requires the user to know the old password. The user will have to enter the old password to disable the encryption.Earlier, using no service password-encryption disabled the encryption and show running config displayed the passwords as plaintext.Now, the user has to user no service password-encryption <old password key> to disable or change the password.
