11. Thread trimmer mechanism

1.Remove the screws q, the flat screws w and the needle plate e.

2.Remove the rubber cap r, loosen the set screw t, and remove the connecting rod lever shaft y.

3.Remove the oil cap u, loosen the set screw i, and remove the retaining ring o.

4.Remove the driving lever shaft !0by pulling it in the direction of the arrow. Then remove the cushion !1and the spring !2from the shaft.

5.Tilt the machine head until it stops.

6.Remove the thread trimmer return spring !3and the spring hook !4.

7.Remove the nut !5, the shoulder screw !6, and the washer !7.

8.Loosen the set screw !8, and remove the lever shaft !9and the thread trimmer lever @0.

9.Return the machine head to its original position, and remove the connecting rod lever @1and the thread trimmer driving lever @2.
