12 - 31 TROUBLESHOOTING AND ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

Follow these steps to replace the drum unit:

Press the cover release but ton and then open the front cover .

Remove the old drum uni t and toner cartridge assem bly. Place

it on a drop cloth or disposabl e paper to avoid scattering toner.

Caution

To prevent damage to the prin ter from static electricity, do not touch

the electrodes shown below.
