If the character pattern is too long to fit in the embroidery frame, follow the steps below.

g Lower the presser foot, and then press 
(Start/stop switch) to begin sewing.
h When embroidering is finished, trim the thread leaving the end of the thread longer than usual. Then reset the fabric in the embroidery frame, in a position where you can sew "DEF".
