Close the cover carefully so the original does not shift out of position. Magnification changed to 50% Magnification Scanning Resolution To Set the Magnification Factor Set the desired magnification factor on the control panel. Setting the Scan Mode Black and White 8 bit Grayscale Grayscale (14/16 bit) 24 bit Color Click the arrow beside Scan Mode. Select a scan mode from the pop-up menu. Verifying the Image before Scanning To Verify the Image Rotating the Image Setting Preferences Output Device Aspect Ratio Unit Specifies the units that define the size of the scanned image. The preview image will change according to the values specified with the histogram. The histogram dialog can also be displayed by selecting [Tone Adjustment] from the [Image] menu. Tone Curve Settings Manipulating the Graph To Edit the Tone Curve The image in the preview window changes to reflect the new settings. Click the OK button. Descreen Open the [Image] menu and select [Descreen]. High-speed Scan Mode Select [High-speed Scan Mode] from the [Image] menu.
