TO REMOVE THE USER INTERFACE BOARD

NOTE: The UIB is attached to a removable bracket. You do not need to remove the bracket when removing or replacing the UIB.

1.Shut down and open the ColorPASS (see page 4-4and page 4-5).

2.Remove the front panel from the chassis (see page 4-9).

3.Remove three of the four screws that secure the UIB to the media bracket.

4.While supporting the UIB, remove the fourth screw.

5.Disconnect the UIB cable from the connector on the UIB.

Press outward on the connector levers on each side of the connector (see Figure 4-13),and then detach the connector. Avoid pulling on the cable.

6.Place the board in an antistatic bag.
