ERROR indicator: Blinks 6 times

<Measure>

<Cause> Thermistor (TH1) on carriage board detects higher than prescribed temperature limit.

<Suspected parts> Carriage unit, carriage cable, logic board

Turn OFF the power and wait for several minutes.

Check the ambient

conditions.

Within specs?

Yes

Turn ON power.

No

Use the printer under

ambient conditions within specifications.

Does error recur?

Yes

Check conductivity of

TEMP signal line.

OK?

No
