15.BJ Cartridge Error

<Cause> 1. Error detected in BJ cartridge type ID.
2.Error detected in head rank resistance.
3.Error detected in head temperature sensor resistance.
4.Head
cartridge, carriage unit, carriage cable, logic board
<Measure>
Check mounting of
BJ cartridges.
•Are cartridges mounted in correct positions?
•Are cartridges mounted securely?
OK?
Yes
Remove BJ cartridge.
Check BJ cartridge
contacts (on cartridge
and on carriage).
No
•Is there any ink or other foreign materials on contacts?
•Are the contacts bent or otherwise deformed?
OK?
No
Yes
Clean
contacts.
Remount BJ cartridges.
Replace BJ cartridge.
Press REPLACE button.
Does error recur?
Yes
1.Check or replace carriage cable.
No
END
2. Replace carriage unit. 
3. Replace logic board.
