3.3 Function Settings

This printer has no function selector for setting functions. Use the Windows driver to make the respective settings. For details, see the Windows Driver Guide included with the printer.

3.3.1 Items set by control function

Procedure

1)Open the printer driver control dialog box.

2)Select "Custom Setting" to open the custom setting dialog box.

3)Change the parameter of the appropriate setting. (The item is ON when a check mark appears in the checkbox.)

Settings

a) ECP mode

This setting selects whether or not to be used ECP mode when printing. "OFF": No ECP mode (default)

"ON": ECP mode

b) High speed printing

This setting specifies whether or not to print at high speed by reducing the response of the printer.

"OFF": Normal speed printing

"ON": High speed printing (default)

c) Pause page

This setting specifies whether or not to use the function to prevents ink transfer between sheets by specifying a fixed waiting time after printing each page. "OFF": No pause after printing each page (default)

"ON": Pause after printing each page
