the metallic components of other materials in waste containers may

facilitiesif availablein your area.

• Usethe specified battery charger to charge Battery PackNB-1LH or
NB-1L.Use of other chargersmay leadto overheating, distortion of the

• Disconnect the battery charger andcompact power adapter from both
thecamera andthe power outlet after recharging and when they are
not in use to avoidfire andother hazards.Continuous useover a long
period may causeaunit to overheat and distort, resulting infire.
• The camera terminal ofthe supplied compact power cord isdesigned
for exclusiveuse with your camera. Donot useit with other products
or batteries. There is a risk of fire and other hazards.
• Avoid using, placingor storing the equipment in placessubject to
strong sunlight or high temperatures, such asthe dashboardor trunk
(boot) of acar. Exposureto intensesunlight and heat may causethe
batteriesto leak,overheat orexplode, resulting in fire, burnsor other
injuries. High temperatures mayalso cause deformation of the casing.
Ensurethat there is good ventilation when using the compact power
adapter to charge the battery pack or power the camera.
