Tothe BJPrinter •Turn the Bubble Jet printer's power on
after you have connected the power
interface Cable
cordto the Bubble Jet printer and
inserted the other end in apower
outlet.
Attach the interface cable tothe Bubble
Jet printer.
Open the camera's terminal cover and
insert the cable's connector into the
camera's DIGITALterminal. Orient the
cableso that the word Canon onthe
connector faces the camera's front
panel.
Setthe mode switch to the F_I position
andturn on the camera'spower.
[] will display when the printer is
correctly connected.

• Thefollowing cannot be conducted while the printer isconnected.
- Playing movies
- Setting the language with the SETand the MENU button
combination.
• When the printer is disconnected, the [] or [] symbol will
disappear from the LCD monitor and the camera will revert
to the standard replay mode.
• Use the following procedures to datach the cable from the
camera and printer.
I. Detach the cable from the printer.
2. Shut off the camera's power.
3. Detach the cable from the camera.
• Ensure that you grip the connector's sides when you detach
the cable from the camera's DIGITAL terminal.
