Chapter 2 Commands for the Catalyst 6500 Series SSL Services Module

standby mac-address

 

In an APPN network, an end node is typically configured with the MAC address of the adjacent network

 

node. Use the standby mac-addresscommand in the routers to set the virtual MAC address to the value

 

that is used in the end nodes.

 

 

Examples

This example shows how to configure HSRP group 1 with the virtual MAC address:

 

ssl-proxy(config-subif)#standby 1 mac-address 4000.1000.1060

 

ssl-proxy (config-subif)#

 

show standby
