Chapter 2 Commands for the Catalyst 6500 Series SSL Services Module

standby name

standby name

To configure the name of the standby group, use the standby name command. Use the no form of this command to disable the name.

standby name group-name

no standby name group-name

Syntax Description		group-name	Name of the standby group.

Defaults		HSRP is disabled.

SSL Services Module	Support for this command was introduced on the Catalyst 6500 series
Release 2.1(1)	switches.

SSL Services Module	The command mode for this command was changed from Proxy-VLAN to
Release 3.1(1)	Subinterface.

Usage Guidelines The group-nameargument specifies the HSRP group.

Examples

This example shows how to specifiy the standby name as SanJoseHA:

ssl-proxy (config-subif)# standby name SanJoseHA ssl-proxy (config-subif)#
