Case study teaching methods have become more important in many professions such as law,
medicine, and business. Case studies that are specified in the course or instructor-developed
can be used to integrate many concepts throughout the Academy curricula.
Figure 1 shows a case study from the CCNP curriculum. The International Travel Agency is a
fictitious business for which a CCNP certified individual might be asked to provide network
services.
