[Outline] | This command sends the printer status. |

[Caution] | This command is valid only for the serial interface. | The following table lists the status sent. | ||||
| In case of DTR/DSR control, only one byte will be sent after confirming that the host is | |||||
| ready to receive (DSR signal has the Space status). |
|
| |||
| The status at command processing time is sent after processing the data received prior to this | |||||
| command. If the printing is under way when the command is being processed, however, | |||||
| the then status will be sent after completing print feed of that line. Therefore, it may take | |||||
| time to send the status after receiving the command. |
