Putting Your Computer into Stand By | Compaq SRS4FXXXX-100 instruction

If you’re going to be away from your computer but want to leave the power on, you can put your computer into Stand By mode.

You can set the amount of time that passes before your computer goes into Stand By mode. See the My Presario— Learning More CD for instructions.

Putting Your Computer into Stand By

Press the Stand By E button 1 on the keyboard and your computer goes into Stand By mode.

Resuming from Stand By

Press the Power button 1 on the front of your computer to resume from Stand By mode.

Note: On some models, you can resume from Stand By mode by moving the mouse.
