SETTING THE ISO SENSITIVITY

Raise the ISO speed when you wish to reduce camera shake or to turn the flash off when shooting in a dark area.

ISO Setting

Description

Auto (default)

Equivalent to setting of 100 under normal conditions. When lighting is poor, camera

raises sensitivity automatically to compensate.

100

100 is best when you want to shoot clear, sharp images in daylight.

200

200 is ideal when shooting in cloudy situations.

400

400 is best when shooting in dark lit surrounding, for example, when shooting at

night.
