TAKING A PICTURE
SETTING THE ISO SENSITIVITY
Raise the ISO speed when you wish to reduce camera shake or to turn the flash off when shooting in a dark area.
| ISO Setting | Description |
| Auto (default) | Equivalent to setting of 100 under normal conditions. When lighting is poor, camera |
|
 | raises sensitivity automatically to compensate. |
| 100 | 100 is best when you want to shoot clear, sharp images in daylight. |
| 200 | 200 is ideal when shooting in cloudy situations. |
| 400 | 400 is best when shooting in dark lit surrounding, for example, when shooting at |
|
 | night. |
Note: Higher ISO speeds increase image noise. To take clean images, use as low an ISO speed as
possible.
